Driving Instructors - qualified to instruct

The Skid Control Centre has been based on Desborough Airfield since 2000. Past and present customers include Northamptonshire Police, Warwickshire Ambulance, Health and Safety Executives and groups from Companies from across the UK.

We are all members of DIA (Driving Instructors Association) and have Public Liability Insurance.

Stan Heggs - Instructor

The Skid Control Centre was created by Stan Heggs. Stan is:

• ROSPA Gold Accredited driver
• a professional driving instructor with 'Precision Driving and Road craft'.
• experienced advanced driver]
• Member of DIA

Andy Giddins - Instructor

Our Instructor is nationally accredited to provide high performance training, in both bikes and cars.  Andy is:

• ROSPA, I.A.M. Instructor/Examiner (Institute of Advanced Motorists)
• registered as a post test Motorcycle Trainer with the D.S.A. (Driving Standards Agency)
• a member of the D.I.A. (Driving Instructors Agency) which incorporates full public liability insurance cover.
• Member of DIA

Paul Hollingsworth - Instructor

Paul is:

• HPC Qualified
• ROSPA Gold Accredited driver
• experienced advanced driver
• Member of DIA
